Seat adjustment

Diane has an appointment to get her custom seat adjusted on Tuesday which gives us all day Monday to get to Kingston, WA from Seattle. Kingston is on the Olympic peninsula which means a ferry ride from Edmonds just north of Seattle. Although we waited until 9:30 to get on the road we still hit traffic and congestion on IH-5 northbound. Crazy traffic.

Visiting yet another BMW dealership

We were happy to leave the KOA behind us this morning. Instead of riding IH-5 all the way down we rode about half way on highway 9 which winds its way through the country side filled with dairy farms, orchards and small towns. Since this was taking longer than expected, we cut across to IH-5 in Arlington in order to get to the BMW dealer before it got too late. Continue reading Visiting yet another BMW dealership

Back in the U.S.A.

We picked a bad weekend to be in Canada – the first Monday in August, known as British Columbia Day was in full effect. It felt like half the province was on the move. We were heading west on 3 with ‘ok’ traffic but the east bound lane was packed with cars, motorcycles and campers. Although the traffic wasn’t in our lane it was still stressful riding, especially in the mountains past Princeton. Continue reading Back in the U.S.A.
